Kuldhara Village: The cursed village near Jaisalmer, Kuldhara has been abandoned since the 19th century. The curse was given by the villagers when they had to leave their homeland within one night to avoid the sinful State Minister’s threat, who wanted to marry forcefully the village Chief’s beautiful daughter. Savoy Hotel: The most haunted spot of Mussoorie, Savoy hotel is very famously spooky because of Lady Garnet Orme’s spirit. In 1911, British spiritualist, lady Orme was murdered by poisoning deadly strychnine in her medicine bottle. A few years later her doctor died in the same way, the case remained unresolved, which made this incident a bit more dangerous. This sensational incident even got a reference in Agatha Christie’s famous novel “The Mysterious Affair at Style” and Ruskin Bond’s “In a Crystal Ball”. Locals and guests of the hotel have reported many disturbing turns of events, whisperings, and face-to-face encounter with Lady Orme’s phantom etc.
Lambi Dehar Mines: One of the deadliest places of Mussoorie, Lambi Dehar mine is now totally abandoned.
